Sealed tenders for the above project will be received at the Town Office up to 2:30 pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. Street
paving 2023 must be clearly written on outside on envelope.
Copies of the tender document can be obtained from the Town of Deer Lake office.
The Town of Deer Lake does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender. The Town may withdraw streets as
funding allows.

o ASPHALT TO BE PLACED FOLLOWING MUNICIPAL MASTER SPECIFICATION.
o APPROVED MIX DESIGN SUBMITTED BEFORE COMMENCING WORK.
o MUST ADHERE TO ALL OCCUPATIONAL AND SAFETY REGULATIONS.
o TEN PERCENT BID BOND OR CERTIFIED CHEQUE REQUIRED.
o ASPHALT TO BE 50 MM THICK.
o LETTER OF GOOD STANDING FROM WORKERS COMPENSATION.
o CLASS A SHOULDERING MUST BE .75M WIDE AND TAPER TO INSIDE PROPERTY
o COR CERTIFIED.
o PAVING MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 20 DAYS OF THE AWARD OR TENDER WILL BE AWARDED TO NEXT
LOWEST BIDDER.
o ALL DEBRIS FROM PROJECT MUST BE CLEANED UP AFTER JOB IS COMPLETED.
o Longitudinal joints not in wear path.
o No Recycled asphalt to be used
