COVID-19 Resources for the Business Community
Given the fluid nature of the impacts of COVID-19 on the business community, the Town of Deer Lake has assembled some important links and useful information for businesses owners – see below.
TCII – The province’s department of Tourism, Culture, Industry & Innovation is automatically deferring all loan payments with Innovation & Business Investment Corp (IBIC) to commercial clients for a 3 month period (April, May & June). They are also endeavoring to get all project payments processed as quickly as possible. They are still accepting applications, but the reality that normal processing/decision times may be impacted by the reduced operations. They are, for the most part, working from home, but are always available to talk to a client over the phone.
ACOA – The Atlantic Canadian Opportunities Agency (ACOA) is actively reaching out to clients throughout the province of NL. Deer Lake businesses can reach a local representative at (709) 640-8196.
