the Town of Deer Lake has been working closely with Royal Canadian Legion Branch #3 to ensure residents of Deer Lake are able to observe the Remembrance Day ceremony in-person while adhering to Covid-19 and public health protocols.
Viewing areas will be established on the Legion grounds for those wishing to visit the area during the ceremony.
a livestream of the event will also take place via the Deer Lake Live YouTube channel.
Those wishing to lay a wreath may do so once the Legions events have concluded.
The Royal Canadian Legion Branch #3 encourages everyone to wear a poppy, which is available for purchase at many local businesses throughout town.
