DEER LAKE MUNICIPAL PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS PROPOSED REZONING AMENDMENT – GLIDE LAKE ROAD AREA

Deer Lake Town Council has received a proposal to develop a retail area on undeveloped land on the east side of the Trans Canada Highway and south of Glide Lake Road. Primary access to the area will be via the TCH interchange into Deer Lake. As shown on the map below, the amendment will rezone approximately 37 hectares from RURAL to COMMERCIAL-LIGHT INDUSTRIAL and 1.3 hectares from RESIDENTIAL MEDIUM DENSITY to COMMERCIAL-LIGHT INDUSTRIAL.
The proposed amendment can be viewed at the Town Office and on the Town’s website (www.deerlake.ca).
Objections and other representations may be submitted in writing to the Town Manager on or before 12:00 PM, Tuesday, November 5th, 2024.
