DISCRETIONARY USE NOTICE
8 – 10 NICHOLS DRIVE, DEER LAKE, NL

Notice is hereby given that the Town of Deer Lake has received an application for a ROW DWELLING (QUADPLEX) to be constructed on property located at 8-10 Nichols Drive in Deer Lake, NL.

 

The location for the proposed row dwelling is situated within the Residential Medium Density Zone (RMD).  This type of dwelling is identified as a discretionary use in the RMD Zone in the Town of Deer Lake Development Regulations (2019-2029).

 

A notice is to be placed in publicly visible areas such as the Town of Deer Lake website and Facebook page and delivered to all persons whose land is in the immediate vicinity of any proposed development that is considered a discretionary use in the use zone.  A minimum of 7 days has to be set forth for responses from the public.

 

Anyone wishing to make an objection or representation on this matter, must do so in writing and the objection or representation must be received by the Deer Lake Town Clerk at deerlaketownclerk@nf.aibn.com, or delivered to the attention of the Town Clerk at the Deer Lake Town located at 34 Reid’s Lane, Deer Lake, NL A8A 2A2 no later than 12:00 Noon, Friday, March 31, 2023.
