Climate Change Action Coordinator
(Full Time Contractual Position – 26 Weeks)
The Town of Deer Lake is seeking a Climate Change Action Coordinator who will assist the Town in policy, planning and program development to effectively measure and reduce Green House Gas (GHG) emissions within the municipality and the surrounding region. The Climate Change Action Coordinator (CCAC) will focus on the planning and implementation of municipal climate change priorities. The primary responsibility will be working on the development and implementation of the municipality’s GHG emissions reductions plan. Additionally, the CCAC will contribute to the development and implementation of municipal operational and institutional changes that will lead to operational savings and the reduction of GHG emissions.
