Summer 2021 Mandatory Water Conservation Plan

 

 

 

Residents are advised that in relation to the water disruption on June 21, 2021, and increasing demand that is being placed on the water distribution system, a mandatory water conservation plan will be put in place effective today, June 22, 2021. Please review the attachment below for details, highlights include;

1. Please restrict watering lawns and gardens to the hours of 6:00 am to 8:00 am and 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, two days per week, in accordance with the following schedule:

(a) Even civic numbers (end in 2, 4, 6, 8, or 0) on Wednesday and Saturday.
(b) Odd civic numbers (end in 1, 3, 5, 7, or 9) on Thursday and Sunday.

2. New lawns and landscaping may be watered on any day however, watering should be limited to the hours of 6:00 am to 8:00 am and 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

3. Please use a watering can or hose with an automatic shutoff nozzle when watering trees, shrubs, flowers and vegetable gardens.

4. Please use a hose with an automatic shutoff nozzle when washing vehicles.

5. Car washes for fund-raising, as well as siding and window washing is permitted with the use of an automatic shutoff nozzle. Free flowing car washes, even for the purposes of fund-raising, are not permitted.
