With hunting season underway, the Town of Deer Lake reminds hunters and residents to dispose of animal hides, carcass remains, and other hunting waste responsibly.
Please do not dispose of hunting remains within Town boundaries. Improper disposal can attract bears and other wildlife into residential areas, creating public safety concerns and increasing the potential for human-wildlife conflict.

Animal hides and hunting remains can be brought to the Transfer Station for proper disposal. Drop-off is FREE until December 31, 2026.
