The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure is tentatively scheduled to complete paving work on the Tailrace Bridge on Sunday morning, August 9.
During this work, Trans-Canada Highway traffic will be temporarily diverted through the Town of Deer Lake, from the Nicholsville Overpass to the St. Jude’s Underpass.
Motorists should expect increased traffic along the diversion route, including Nicholsville Road, Main Street, Gatehouse Road and Squires Road.
Work is expected to take approximately 2 hours.
Please use caution, allow extra travel time, and follow all posted signage and traffic-control directions while travelling through the area.
