TOWN OF DEER LAKE
PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO MUNICIPAL PLAN
AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS
Deer Lake Town Council has received an application to amend its Municipal Plan and Development Regulations to allow for the development of a residential care home on the west side of the Northern Peninsula Highway approximately two kilometres north of the Reidville intersection. The amendment will rezone approximately 13 hectares from RURAL to PUBLIC USE.
The proposed amendment is available for viewing at the Town Office and on the Town’s website (www.deerlake.ca). Objections or other representations may be submitted in writing to the Town on or before 12:00 PM, Wednesday, September 3, 2025.
