PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO MUNICIPAL PLAN
AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS

Deer Lake Town Council has received an application to amend its Municipal Plan and
Development Regulations to allow for the development of a storage unit rental facility
on the east side of Hillside Drive. As shown below, the amendment will rezone
approximately 0.5 hectares from the RURAL to COMMERCIAL GENERAL.

The proposed amendment is available for viewing at the Town Office and on the
Town’s website (www.deerlake.ca). Objections and other representations may be
submitted in writing to the Town Clerk on or before 12:00 PM, Monday August 5, 2024.
