PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO
MUNICIPAL PLAN AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS
Deer Lake Council has received an application to amend its Municipal Plan and Development
Regulations to add CHILDCARE as a Discretionary Use in the Commercial Highway zone.
This will give Council discretionary authority to approve childcare uses after giving public
notice and considering comments received. The proposed amendment is available for
viewing at the Town Office and on our website (www.townofdeerlake.ca). Objections or other
comments may be submitted in writing to Council by 3:00 PM, Friday, July 26, 2024.
