A program designed to teach parents to effectively deal with their children when it comes to drugs and underage drinking will debut on October 18. Guiding Good Choices is aimed at parents of children aged 9-14 years. The program will be offered in five sessions – Oct. 18, Oct. 25, Nov. 1, Nov. 8 and Nov. 15 — at a location to be determined. Parents are asked to please register for the course by October 5, 2018, as space is limited. And will be on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no charge to participate in the program.
