Stay in touch through your mobile phone with the Town of Deer Lake app. The app contains loads of information about the Town and also contains notifications regarding water shut-offs, road closures, etc. The app is available for both iPhones and android devices and it is free of charge. On your mobile device, go to the App Store and search for “Town of Deer Lake.” Click on “Get” and the app will start downloading onto your phone. By posting alerts, the Town is able to quickly inform residents of water shut-offs, road closures and so on. When you first download the app, you will see pop-up screens asking if you’d like to allow push notices. You can check if your notices are enabled via the settings on your phone – scroll down to your list of apps and select the town’s app. Those who have turned on notifications will receive the push notice when you send it.
